Govindh on Magnetic Leadership

A short preview before you apply.

The Problem

You're not short on ambition. You're short on a field to build it in.

You know the frameworks. You've read the books. You can talk about mindset, visualization, goal-setting.

But knowing and embodying are two different things. You're running fast without a clear signal for what to run toward, how to stay grounded while you do it, or how to lead the people around you through the uncertainty.

The Field: Build isn't another course on vision. It's the field underneath the vision, built through the Magnetic Leadership Framework: how you think, how you show up, how you lead, and how you act when it gets hard.

What This Is

A room built for honesty, not performance.

A live, virtual, salon-style cohort. 90 minutes per session. Socratic facilitation, not lectures. You won't sit and absorb. You'll be questioned, challenged, and held accountable by the room.

  • Application-based entry. Not everyone gets in. That's by design.
  • Peer accountability pairs assigned in Week 1.
  • Light async access between sessions for questions and check-ins.
  • No recordings. What's said in the room stays in the room.
The Framework

Two structures run through every session.

Magnetic Leadership is the inner game.

Four pillars that create the field others are drawn to. When these align, leadership stops being effortful and starts being magnetic.

Confidence

Telling the truth early.

Congruence

Words matching actions under pressure.

Calm

Holding space without rushing to fix.

Contribution

Showing up for more than outcomes.

Focus. Align. Act. is the activation layer.

This isn't a phase of the program. It's a weekly discipline. Every session ends with it. By Week 8, it's muscle memory.

Focus

On what you want.

Align

With where you actually are.

Act

100% all in, and release the outcome.

Which of the four came loose?

The Field Reading

Nobody experiences your pillars. They experience four things: how you support, how you hold people to account, how you give feedback, and how you encourage. Fourteen questions, and you leave knowing which of those has come loose from the pillar underneath it.

Free. About three minutes. No pitch at the end, a reading.

Who This Is For

Coachable. Building. Ready to be challenged.

  • You're in your 20s or 30s, already building something real.
  • You're generating revenue, not just dreaming about it.
  • You have too many options and not enough clarity on which path is actually yours.
  • You're coachable. You want direction, not validation.
  • You're willing to be challenged in front of peers.
How Each Session Runs

Same rhythm every week.

90 minutes. A one-word check-in, a core question posed to the group, paired discussion, Socratic group exploration, a framework introduced after discovery, never before, and a public commitment to one concrete action.

Every session closes with Focus-Align-Act: What are you focused on? Where are you aligned right now? What's your one action, fully committed, outcome released?

Stories over slides.
Questions before answers.
Your language, not mine.

Who's Leading This

I've built this room before.

I'm Govindh Jayaraman, founder of Paper Napkin Wisdom and creator of the Magnetic Leadership Framework. For years I've coached founders and executives, and hosted hundreds of conversations with leaders on the Paper Napkin Wisdom podcast, listening for the pattern underneath every story: the leaders who kept growing weren't doing more, they were becoming someone new. That pattern became the framework. The framework became this room.

I've run this kind of salon many times now, with different groups of entrepreneurs. It's very different from what's typically introduced as leadership development, and the response has been consistent: people leave saying it changed how they lead, not just what they do next. The Field: Build is where the Magnetic Leadership Framework gets practiced live, with you, in front of people who are done performing and ready to build.

The Napkin Moment

You don't attract what you want.
You attract what you are.

The Field is where you change what you are.
Build is where it starts.
